InnoEX returns this April, highlighting low-altitude economy and AI innovations

EFSE to open concurrently; press conference next Tuesday to preview Hong Kong’s latest R&D outcomes

2 April 2025 － The third edition of InnoEX, co-organised by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), along with the 21^st HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) (EFSE), will take place concurrently from 13 to 16 April at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It will highlight global smart solutions, including the low-altitude economy, smart mobility, AI, robotics technology and cybersecurity. The aim is to accelerate the commercialisation of research and development (R&D) outcomes, establish Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology (I&T) hub, and enhance the integration of technological advancements with industrial development.

A press conference will be held on Tuesday, April 8, to preview InnoEX and the EFSE. This will include an introduction to the innovations showcased by exhibitors from various countries and regions. The Digital Policy Office will also present the innovations featured at its Smart Hong Kong Pavilion at InnoEX, while an industry expert will share insights into the market outlook for both the I&T and electronics sectors.

Several exhibitors will showcase their latest groundbreaking products and are available for interviews, including:

	Smart LAE Medicine Delivery (Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute) This drone-based medication delivery solution maintains precise positioning even during non-line-of-sight, allowing it to efficiently and reliably deliver critical medicine to patients during emergencies
	EC Flow System (EC Innovation Limited) EC Flow System is a pioneering solution developed by a local start-up that upcycles wastewater from plants into nutrient-rich solutions using breakthrough electrocatalytic and AIoT technology. This system provides free fertiliser and prevents wastewater from polluting the ocean. It can be customised to enhance crop growth in agricultural settings while reducing maintenance efforts for green buildings and landscaping projects
	HIF-TRAINER™ (CYBERMED CO., LIMITED) HIF-TRAINER™ is an Intermittent Hypoxia-Hyperoxia Training (IHHT) device that simulates high-altitude environments to improve oxygen utilisation efficiency and prevent hypoxia. Widely used in rehabilitation institutions, it is also designed for high-altitude tourist activities and destinations, ensuring the health and safety of individuals working in extreme conditions In recent years, IHHT has gained increased attention in the sports community. It can quickly enhance athletes’ performance and VO2 Max, improving cardiovascular function
	VBoxing (Refract Technologies Pte. Ltd.) An innovative Player-Vs-Player VR fighting game, VBoxing features real-time full body tracking and mixed-reality spatial awareness. It includes a real-time spectator mode, allowing audiences to watch the action unfold. VBoxing was showcased at the ‘Boxing Road to Paris’ event held in Bangkok, introducing a LIVE XR Esports Spectator Experience featuring world-class athletes
